Men's Ice Hockey Announces 2022-23 Schedule; 100th Year Of Hobey Baker Rink Highlights Slate

There are few rinks in college hockey with as much history and importance to the game as Hobey Baker Rink, and the venerable home of Princeton Hockey embarks on a milestone year in 2022-23 as it celebrates its 100th year of operation.

14 home games at Baker Rink highlight the 2022-23 men's ice hockey schedule, beginning with the home opener against Cornell on November 4 and closing with the home regular season finale on February 18 against Yale.

Throughout the season, Princeton Hockey will commemorate the centennial year of its home rink. In addition to giveaways, a new center-ice logo, historical retrospectives and more surprises along the way, the men's and women's programs will gather as one Princeton Hockey community the weekend of January 6-7 for a pair of doubleheaders as part of the official 100 Years of Hobey Baker Rink celebration.

"One of the amazing things about Princeton Hockey is its tradition," said head coach Ron Fogarty. "This is one of the oldest programs in college hockey and we are fortunate to have Hobey Baker Rink as our home. The name Hobey Baker is synonymous with college hockey, and we strive to 'Make Hobey Proud' each time we take the ice in the rink that bears his name. There is a lot of excitement among our group about the upcoming season, we can't wait to properly celebrate the deep-rooted tradition and history of Princeton Hockey."

2022-23 Schedule Notes:
- The official 100 Years of Hobey Baker Rink celebration will take place January 6-7 with doubleheaders featuring the men's and women's teams. The women will play at 3 p.m. each day, with the men following at 7 p.m. and hosting Harvard (January 6) and Dartmouth (January 7).
- Princeton's first-ever trip to RIT takes places over the Thanksgiving holiday, with Princeton heading to Rochester for a pair of games November 25-26.
- Princeton heads to Colorado College for the first time since 1990, playing two games in Colorado Springs to close out 2022 on December 30-31.
- The Tigers welcome Providence to Hobey Baker Rink for the first time since 1997 when the Friars come to town on January 17.

Early Access to Individual Tickets

This is a way for Princeton fans and supporters to get involved in providing active duty service members and veterans an opportunity to attend a Princeton Men's Hockey game and witness firsthand the passion of what it means to be a Tiger. For only $6 a ticket, you can sponsor a Princeton service member -- along with their families – with a FREE ticket as a thank you for their service. Please note that these tickets are not tax deductible.

12/10 vs RPI | Teddy Bear Toss
- Join us for the Fifth Annual Teddy Bear Toss!
- Fans are encouraged to bring new or lightly used stuffed animals to toss onto the ice after the first intermission.
- All donations will be given to local youth in need.

1/6 & 1/7 vs Harvard & Dartmouth | Hobey 100 Weekend
