Siniru Iheoma Advances to Discus Final at World Athletics U20 Championships

CALI, Colombia – Siniru Iheoma of the Princeton University women's track & field team advanced to the discus final at the World Athletics U20 Championships, Monday at the Estadio Olimpico Pascual Guerrero.
Iheoma finished sixth in the preliminary round, with a best mark of 50.41 meters. Competing in Group B, Iheoma's 50.41-meter mark came on her third and final attempt. On her first attempt she recorded a throw of 47.87 meters, and improved to throw 48.72 meters on her second attempt.
The final takes place at 6:15 p.m. ET on Wednesday, August 3.
