1. A Successful Non-Conference Slate: The Tigers ended non-conference play with an 8-2 record, and winners of five-straight matches.
2. Rutgers Tournament Sweep: Princeton is coming off a sweep at the Rutgers Tournament, defeating Florida International, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Rutgers in straight sets. Senior Avery Luoma was named MVP and to the All-Tournament Team, with seniors Cameron Dames and Melina Mahood joining her as All-Tournament Team honorees.
3. Award-Winners: Princeton has been featured prominently in the Ivy League weekly awards so far in 2022; on Monday, September 19, the Tigers swept the awards with Luoma being named Player of the Week for the second time this season, and freshman Valerie Nutakor Rookie of the Week for the second-consecutive week.
4. Ivy Leaders: The Tigers currently lead the Ivy League in hitting percentage (.288), assists (13.66), kills (14.74), and digs (16.80). Luoma leads the conference in points (4.50) and kills (4.10), senior Lindsey Kelly in assists (11.55), freshman Lucia Scalamandre in blocks (1.30), and senior Cameron Dames in digs (5.06).
5. All-Time Series: The Tigers lead the al-time series with the University of Pennsylvania, 29-12. The most recent meeting between the two programs took place on October 22, 2021, and was a 3-2 (25-12, 25-14, 21-25, 32-30, 16-14) victory for the Tigers.
