
Women's Squash Downs No. 3 Drexel 7-2

Princeton, N.J. – The No.4 Princeton women's squash team defeated No. 3 Drexel in an exciting home match in Jadwin on Wednesday evening.
The Tigers showed determination against a skilled Drexel team and were able to defeat the Dragons at home. The first three matches were played at the No. 3 position with Andrea Toth, the No. 6 position with India Stephenson, and the No. 8 position with Katherine Glaser.
Princeton took an early 3-0 lead, with Toth sweeping her opponent 3-0, and Stephenson and Glaser both taking 3-1 victories.
Stephenson was able to seal the win in game No. 4, only dropping 2 points to defeat Lydia Robinson 11-2, and win the match 3-1.
Both Charlotte Bell and Abigail Schuster defeated their Drexel opponents 3-1. Bell got the victory at the No.5 position and Schuster at the No. 9 position.
Schuster won her first game in a point-for-point contest, 17-15. Despite falling in game two, she managed to offensively dominate games three and four, only dropping six points throughout the final two games.
To close out the Tigers for the evening, Caroline Spahr and Olivia Robinson nabbed the final, two wins for Princeton.
Spahr won her match at the No. 4 position with a score of 3-1, and Robinson defeated her Drexel opponent in an exciting five match stretch 3-2.
Katherine Glaser and Charlotte Bell continue their winning streaks, and remain 6-0 for the 2022-23 season.
Following Wednesday evenings victory, the Tiger women now stand at 5-1 overall for the season.
