Chamberlain '22, Fang, Anglade '23 Medal at Pan Am Games

Maia Chamberlain '22, first-year Sabrina Fang and Alexis Anglade '23 all won Pan Am Game medals in Santiago, Chile as the three current and former Princeton fencers all earned hardware during the hemispheric games.
In the individual women's saber event, Chamberlain went 5-0 during her pool bouts and then defeated Argentina's Maria Alicia Perroni 15-8 in the round of 16 before a 15-8 win over Mexico's Natalia Botello Cervantes in the quarters. Chamberlain advanced to the final with a 15-7 win over Mexico's Julieta Isabel Toledo Ames before coming up just short of gold against fellow U.S. fencer Magda Dominika Skarbonkiewicz, 15-13.
In the women's team foil competition, Fang and Canada opened with a 45-25 quarterfinal win over Colombia and followed it up with a 45-26 win over Mexico to make the gold-medal match where Team USA won 42-41.
Chamberlain teamed with fellow Tiger alumna Anglade as well as Skarbonkiewicz to lead Team USA to gold in the women's saber event, defeating Chile 45-11 in the quarters, Argentina 45-13 in the semis, and Canada 45-19 in the final.
