PRINCETON, N.J. - The Princeton men's soccer team will face its third Ivy League opponent of the 2023 season at home against Columbia on Saturday, October 7 at 4 p.m. The match will air on ESPN+ and will be hosted at Myslik Field at Roberts Stadium. Admission to all home soccer matches is free.

Game Notes

Princeton is 3-4-1 overall and 0-1-1 in Ivy League Conference play following a loss to No. 8 Georgetown earlier in the week.
Daniel Ittycheria is tied for 45th in the country in goals per game. The sophomore leads the team with 5 goals this season and one assist, he also leads the team in points scored (11) ... scored a brace in the game against St. John's (9/19) and scored a goal in three consecutive games.
Khamari Hadaway averages 4.71 saves per game which ranks him 20th in the country. The junior has a total of 33 saves on the 2023 season and a 70.2% save percentage ... 6 saves in the win against Rutgers (9/1), 10 saves against No. 3 Duke (9/4), 3 saves against No. 21 New Hampshire (9/15), 3 saves against St. John's (9/19), 3 saves against Dartmouth (9/23), 2 saves against Yale (9/30), and 5 saves against No. 8 Georgetown (10/3). In 2022 he recorded 18 saves in the 7 games he played.
The offense has been heating up. The Tigers had four different goal scorers in their 4-1 win over Monmouth (9/26) ... Walker Gillespie, Will Francis, Nico Nee, and Daniel Ittycheria
The sophomore Will Francis scored goals in back-to-back games last week with a goal against Monmouth and with a crucial, game-tying goal against Yale. Will is third on the team in points scored this season with 4.
The freshman Ian Nunez scored the game winning goal against St. John's (9/19) tallying his first collegiate goal. He has seen 214 minutes of playing time and owns a 80% shot on goal percentage.
Nico Nee is tied for 26th in the nation for assists per game with 4 assists through 8 games ... he is second on the team in points scored this season with 9. Nee is 2-2 on the season in penalty kicks.
Sophomore Stephen Duncan scored the first goal of his collegiate career against No. 21 New Hampshire (9/15).
Whit Gamblin leads the team in minutes played ... 678 minutes through 8 games.
The team holds a 0.489 shots on goal percentage ... ranked 28th in shot accuracy
The Tiger's schedule has consisted of eight games thus far, three of them against Top-25 teams. The match against Georgetown was the third ranked opponent of the 2023 season.
Princeton went 6-6-4 (.500) overall in the 2022 season and went 2-4-1 at home.
