Roko Pozaric was named NWPC Most Valuable Player
Pozaric and Litvak Nabbed NWPC Top Honors; Four Named All-Conference

PRINCETON – The No. 6 Men's Water Polo Team had four all-conference selections while Roko Pozaric and Dustin Litvak collected major Northeast Water Polo Conference Awards, the CWPA announced today.
Pozaric was selected All-NWPC First Team and the conference's Most Valuable Player. He was the conference's Rookie of the Year in 2021 and the Player of the Year in 2022. The junior had the best season of his career, recording 66 goals, a personal best 45 assists along with 37 steals, 26 drawn ejections and a 97-7 sprint record. He scored a goal in every game with 20 multi-goal performances.
Vladan Mitrovic was also honored as All-NWPC First Team after setting a new benchmark in tallies with 46, posting 14 helpers and 14 steals as well. He recorded 14 multi-goal outings for Princeton. This is his second all-conference accolade.
Kristóf Kovács was picked as All-NWPC Second Team after collecting a 12-3 record in goal with a .596 save percentage and 162 saves. He won his first nine starts and has nine performances with 10 saves or more. Kovacs had 20 saves at Iona as a season high.
Pierce Maloney nabbed All-NWPC Second Team behind 28 goals, 37 assists along with 41 steals and 31 drawn ejections. He had helpers in 21 games and a steal in 23 contests for the Tigers.
This is the third straight season that Litvak has been named Coach of the Year. Princeton has 25 games with 12 victories over ranked opponents and was ranked as high No. 4 in the country.
The Tigers will take on the winner of Iona and MIT on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the NWPC Tournament Semifinals. The winner of that contest will winner of Harvard/Connecticut College and Brown/LIU on Sunday for the title at 1 p.m.
