Women's Cross Country Prepares for NCAA Regionals

PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton women's cross country team are set to compete in this year's Mid-Atlantic Regional championship race. This six-kilometer race is officially set to begin at 12:00 p.m. and will be hosted at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
The Tigers are coming off a second-place finish at this year's Ivy Heptagonal Cross Country Championships two weeks ago led by Fiona Max, who was awarded First-Team All-Ivy honors.
The week 5 USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll has the Tigers at the No. 4 spot in the Mid-Atlantic region, behind West Virginia, Penn State, and Georgetown.
The NCAA cross country championships at the University of Virginia on November 18th this year grants automatic bids to the top two teams from each region. Additionally, the first four finishers from each region, excluding automatic qualifiers, also earn a spot. A strong showing at the regional level is essential to progress towards the national title.
At last year's, Mid-Atlantic Regionals, the Tigers finished fourth as a team, and Abby Loveys was selected to compete in the 2022 NCAA Championships.
Admission
Adults $10 and $5 for children and students. Spectator Parking Fee is $10. Cash and credit cards accepted and there will be no advance sales for this event.
