Women's Tennis Open ECAC Championships With 4-3 Win Over Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. – The Princeton University women's tennis team opened the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships with a 4-3 triumph over Dartmouth, Friday at the Boss Tennis Center.
While the Tigers dropped the doubles point to the Big Green, Princeton showed its resilience and bounced back in singles. No. 4 Daria Frayman prevailed 6-2, 6-2, at the No. 1 position over Chidimma Okpara, and Leena Bennetto earned a 6-1, 7-5, victory over Katie Weber at No. 3. At No. 6, Eva Elbaz took down Lexi Dewire 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 then to clinch the match Maia Sung outlasted Ujvala Jupali, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), at No. 4.
