Men's Volleyball to open EIVA play with Back-to-Back Matches at No. 3 Penn State

Princeton, N.J. – Following a 3-0 sweep of St. Francis Brooklyn at home, the Princeton men's volleyball team will head to University Park for two matches on Friday, February 17th and Saturday February 18th against No. 3 Penn State University to open up EIVA play.
Following last weeks' matches, junior Ben Harrington was named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season following his performances against CSUN and St. Francis.
For the week he totaled 27 kills while hitting .309 with a dozen aces, five digs and three blocks. Harrington leads the EIVA in both kills per set (3.85) and aces per set (0.85) and ranks third nationally in the latter category.
After facing a number of strong, non-conference opponents early this season, Harrington and the Tiger squad will go into this weekend ready to take on the Nittany Lions.
Penn State University
Penn State is currently 9-1 for the 2023 season. The team most recently nabbed wins over No. 2 UCLA and No. 10 USC.
The last time Penn State faced the Tigers was in the 2022 EIVA Championship Semifinal, when Princeton took a 3-2 victory over the top ranked Nittany Lions.
Friday and Saturday's matches are sure to be a completive matchup between two, talented EIVA programs to open up conference play.
