Fantinelli Takes Medalist Honors at The Prestige Individual Event

Princeton rookie Riccardo Fantinelli carded seven birdies in Wednesday's round to win medalist honors at The Prestige's individual event at The Golf Club at Terra Lago's North Course in Indio, Calif., finishing at 5-under.
Fantinelli finished a stroke clear of TCU's Chris Berzina (-4).

The team event, at PGA West's Greg Norman Course in La Quinta, Calif., saw Princeton finish 24th in a field that included 11 Golfstat top-50 teams, with Pepperdine winning at -8 and with a six-stroke margin over runner-up Texas Tech (-2). The Red Raiders' Ludvig Aberg won medalist honors at -6, one stroke in front of William Mouw of Pepperdine. William Huang was the top Tiger in the team event, at +18.
