Laudenslager Shares Ivy League Pitcher of the Week Honors

After striking out 24 batters in 14 1/3 innings in her first two starts of the season, Alexis Laudenslager will share honors as the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week.Â
Accruing a 1.95 ERA for the weekend, Laudenslager started with a one-hit, three-walk shutout of Elon, striking out 11 batters, one short of her then-career high. The next day, Laudenslager upped that career high to 13, going all eight innings in a 5-4 loss to host Liberty.
Laudenslager, a senior, is the reigning Ivy League Pitcher of the Year after helping lead Princeton to the Ivy League title and the NCAA tournament last season. Laudenslager threw two no-hitters last season and struck out a career-high 138 batters.
Laudenslager and the Tigers will head to Texas for five games against Tennessee State (twice), McNeese State, Louisiana and host Texas, Friday through Sunday.
