FULL LIST OF NCAA QUALIFIERS
INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced its qualifiers for the 2023 Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday, and Nikki Venema of the Princeton University women's swimming & diving team was one of the swimmers earning qualification.
Venema will compete in the 100 and 200 freestyle, and also qualified in the 100 butterfly by making the top-39. She is also qualified to swim in the 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke and 200 butterfly because she earned NCAA B cuts in the events and is invited to the meet. The NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships will take place in Knoxville, Tennessee, from Wednesday, March 15 until Saturday, March 18.
The Tigers also had four relays earn an NCAA B cut; the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relay along with the 200 medley relay. Including Princeton, only 22 teams had at least four relays earn an NCAA B cut and the Tigers were the only Ivy team to earn an NCAA B cut in a relay.
On an individual level, Amelia Liu, Sabrina Johnston, Ela Noble, Ellie Marquardt, Emily Appleton, Isabella Korbly, Alexa Pappas, Meg Wheeler, Margaux McDonald, Eliza Brown and Heidi Smithwick each earned an NCAA B cut.
Selected divers will be announced on Sunday, March 12.
