Men’s Volleyball Set to Take on NJIT Highlanders

Newark, NJ – The Princeton Men's Volleyball team will look to extend their three-match win streak this weekend as they prepare to take on the NJIT Highlanders in a Saturday EIVA match at 4:00 p.m. in Newark.
Through 15 Matches
The Tigers are currently 2-2 within EIVA play and rank third within the conference. As a team, Princeton ranks first within the EIVA in aces per set, with 2.20/set.
Ben Harrington ranks first in points per set within the EIVA with 4.58/set and service aces per set with .79/set. Additionally, Harrington also ranks third within the entire NCAA in aces/per set.
Henry Wedbush continues to set the Tigers up for scoring success, and leads the team in assists per set with 9.20/set, as well as digs per set with 1.47/set. First year, Ryan Vena, holds the top mark for blocks per set with 0.80/set.
The NJIT Highlanders
NJIT currently holds a record of 6-9 for the 2023 season. The Highlanders are 1-2 within the EIVA, having nabbed a 3-2 win over George Mason, and falling in a pair of matches to Penn State, 0-3.
In the last match up between Princeton and NJIT in 2022, the Tigers defeated the Highlanders with a final score of 3-1 in a four-set match up in the EIVA Conference Finals. The No. 4 seeded Tigers upset the No. 3 seeded Highlanders to advance to the NCAA tournament in 2022.
Princeton will look to take another victory over the fellow New Jersey, EIVA opponent in this weekend's match up.
