Dugan Named First Alternate for NCAA Championships at 184

Nate Dugan, the fifth-place finisher at the EIWA Championships last weekend, has been named the first alternate for the NCAA Championships at 184 pounds.

As first alternate, Dugan will travel to the NCAA Championships in Tulsa, Okla., next weekend and will compete if one of the 33 spots at 184 opens up before the competition begins. If Dugan competes, the junior would be making his NCAA Championships debut.

This season was Dugan's second time in Princeton's EIWA lineup, along with an eighth-place finish as a sophomore at 174 in 2022.

Princeton has four competitors with confirmed spots at the NCAAs, with Patrick Glory (125), Quincy Monday (165) and Luke Stout (197) earning automatic bids through their EIWA finishes and Travis Stefanik (285) earning an at-large bid.
