Men's Tennis Team Defeats Brown to Open Ivy Weekend
April 15, 2023 | Men's Tennis
An Ivy League road weekend opened Saturday for the Princeton men's tennis team with a 5-2 win over Brown in Providence.
The Tigers will head to Yale for a 1 p.m. match Sunday. Live scoring will be available here.
"It was a good effort from our guys on the road against a feisty Brown squad," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "It's a tough place to play and we had to battle through a strong surge. I was pleased with doubles and the way we finished today, but with every match, there's a lot to work on. We have a challenge at Yale tomorrow and will need to be at our best."
Princeton took the doubles point with wins from Thomas Bosancic and Ellis Short on court one and Fnu Nidunjianzan and Alan Kam on court two. Thomas and Matthew Bosancic each had a singles win, as did Sebastian Sec and Ellis Short.
