Daria Frayman Advances to Round of 32 at NCAA Singles Championships

LAKE NONA, Fla. – No. 10 Daria Frayman of the Princeton University women's tennis team made history Monday afternoon at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus, becoming the first player in program history to advance to the Round of 32 at the NCAA Singles Championships
Playing in the NCAA Singles Championships for the second-straight season, Frayman's historic victory came over No. 43 Eryn Cayetano of USC. Frayman prevailed in the first set but dropped the second, before ultimately pulling away for the victory in the third set with a final score of 6-0, 5-7, 6-3.
Frayman will face NC State's No. 26 Amelia Rajecki in the second round at 11 a.m. She will also team with Grace Joyce in doubles, taking on No. 20 Patricija Spaka and Domenika Turkovic of Arizona State at 5 p.m.
