
No. 41 Frayman & Joyce Fall at NCAA Championships

LAKE NONA, Fla. – The No. 49 Princeton University women's tennis team concluded play at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus Wednesday night.
In singles, No. 10 Daria Frayman fell in the round of 32 to No. 26 Amelia Rajecki of NC State, 6-3, 6-4. In doubles, No. 49 Frayman and Grace Joyce suffered a first round 6-0, 7-6 setback to No. 20 Patricija Spaka and Domenika Turkovic of Arizona State.
Frayman ends the 2022-23 season as the first Princeton woman to advance out of the Round of 64 at the NCAA Tournament, the unanimous Ivy Player of the Year, a First Team All-Ivy and an Academic All-Ivy honoree. In addition, Frayman and Joyce were First Team All-Ivy honorees in doubles.
In her first season as head coach, Jamea Jackson guided the Tigers to an Ivy title, a 7-0 record in Ivy play and an NCAA Tournament first round victory at the team championships.
