Liu Heads for Final Round at NCAA Regional

Princeton sophomore Victoria Liu turned in a 2-over 74 Tuesday to enter the final round of the NCAA Palm Beach Gardens Regional at +3, tied for 12th overall in the 67-player field.
Miami (Fla.)'s Sara Byrne, competing individually like Liu, is in the lead for both regional medalist honors and the lone individual bid from the region on to the NCAA Championships, with the bid going to the top player not on one of the five advancing teams. Byrne will enter Wednesday's final round at -4, leading Northwestern's Kelly Sim, at -3, by a stroke.Â
Tee times for Wednesday will run from 8-9:50 a.m. with Liu teeing off at 8:55. Results are available here.
