Princeton Has Two Boats Advance At Henley

HENLEY-ON-THAMES – Day Two of the Henley Royal Regatta wrapped up with two more Princeton boats moving on to the next round of racing.
The Tigers' A 8+ boat advanced to quarterfinals of the Temple Challenge Cup after defeating Cambridge narrowly by 3/4 lengths (6:39). The boat of Tim Scheuritzel, William Olson, Reuben Cook, Noah Klemmer Domonkos, Peter Skinner, George Dickinson, Ethan Abraham, Nick Aronow and Adam Casler takes on Oxford Brookes' B on Friday.
Full Race - A Boat win over Cambridge
Princeton's B 8+ boat fell to Oxford Brookes' A by 1 ¼ lengths. (6:33).
The 4- boat of Floyd Benedikter, Stephane Pienaar, Nick Taylor and James Quinlan took down the Radley Mariners and Tideway Scullers' School by 4 ½ lengths (7:11) and will race Cambridge on Friday.
Full Race - 4- win over Radley and Tideway
Marcus Chute lost to Liam Smit of Canada in the Diamond Challenge Sculls race by 2 ¼ lengths (8:10).
The women's 8+ in the Island Cup Challenge was defeated by Newcastle' A by 1 ¾ lengths (7:27).
In addition to today's winning boats, the double sculls team of David Van Velden and Hidde Lycklama and women's 8+ A boat of Hannah Diaz, Lucy Koven, Anne du Croo de Jongh, Katharine Kalap, Zoe Scheske, Camille VanderMeer, Margot LeRoux, Cordelia Mahony and Ella Barry (Remenham Challenge) get underway. Times have not been announced yet.
