Women’s Tennis to Open Fall Season at Wahooa Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's tennis team will open its 2023 fall season at the Wahooa Invitational from Sept. 15-17 at the Virginia Tennis Complex at the Boar's Head Sports Club.

Head Coach Jamea Jackson
Jackson took over as Head Coach ahead of the 2022-23 season and guided Princeton to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight season with a 4-0 victory over Fordham on May 5. With Jackson at the helm, the Tigers also won a fourth-straight Ivy League title. The Tigers ended the season with a 17-7 overall record along with a perfect 7-0 record in Ivy League play.

The Tigers of 2023-24
Princeton returns senior Neha Velaga, a two-time First Team All-Ivy honoree and the 2022 Ivy Rookie of the Year, along with senior Maia Sung who was a 2022 Second Team All-Ivy honoree in doubles. Returning juniors include Leena Bennetto and Skyler Grishuk along with sophomore Eva Elbaz. In addition to The Tigers welcome four talented newcomers in Madeleine Jessup, Alice Ferlito, Tsehay Driscoll and Bella Chhiv to an already impressive squad.
