PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's tennis team will open its 2024 spring season against Rutgers on Jan. 20 inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
The Tigers are coming off four-consecutive Ivy League Championships and three-straight NCAA Tournament second round appearances. In 2023, Princeton went 17-7 overall and a perfect 7-0 in Ivy League play.
In the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings of 2023, the duo of Maia Sung and Bella Chhiv were ranked No. 40 in doubles and Madeleine Jessup No. 93 in singles.
The Scarlet Knights' contest against the Tigers will be their first of the spring. Rutgers went 11-13 in 2023, and 1-10 in Big Ten play.
