Nick Carabin Named ECAC Defender Of The Week

Senior defenseman Nick Carabin tallied a career-high three points in Princeton's 5-2 win over Harvard on Saturday night, earning ECAC Defender of the Week honors for the first time in his career.
Carabin scored a short-handed empty-netter to close out the win, and added two assists along the way, as the Tigers closed out a season sweep of Harvard.
The selection of Carabin as ECAC Defender of the Week marks the third time the Tigers have had a blueliner chosen as the ECAC's top defender for a week this season -- joining Tyler Rubin and Noah de la Durantaye. Princeton has had the most players chosen ECAC Defender of the Week so far this season, only Quinnipiac and Union have had wto selections while four schools have had one.
The Tigers venture back into non-conference play this weekend, taking on New Hampshire in Durham January 5-6.
