ITA Kickoff Weekend To Open For Men's Tennis Against Tulsa

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team begins play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 27 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the TCU Regional.
The third-seeded Tigers first take on second-seeded Tulsa at 11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET. At 2 p.m. CT/3 p.m. ET top-seeded and fourth-ranked TCU will face fourth-seeded Rice. The championship and consolation matches will take place on Jan. 28.
Princeton is currently 1-2 on the season, most recently falling just short, 4-3, in a hard-fought battle with No. 8 Duke on Jan. 21 in Durham, North Carolina. The match was highlighted by Paul Inchauspe defeating No. 21 Pedro Rodenas 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
No. 4 TCU is slated to open its season against Abilene Christian on Jan. 24 prior to its match against Rice. Tulsa currently has a 2-0 record on the season and is coming off a 7-0 victory over Illinois State on Jan. 19. Rice is 3-0 and in its most recent contest overcame Lamar, 4-0, on Jan. 21.
