No. 24 Women's Swimming & Diving To Host HYP, Honor Class Of 2024

PRINCETON, N.J. – Regular season competition wraps up for the No. 24 Princeton University women's swimming & diving team on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 at DeNunzuio Pool when it hosts a tri-meet with Harvard and Yale.
Action begins at 2 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. At 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the first event a ceremony will be held honoring the Tigers' Class of 2024: Hanna Johnsson Stjernstrom, Macey Mannion, Ellie Marquardt, Margaux McDonald, Nathalie Valdman, Liza Whitmire and Jess Yeager.
No. 24 Princeton is 9-1 overall and 5-0 in Ivy League competition as it looks to maintain its perfect conference record against the Crimson and Bulldogs. Most recently, the Tigers defeated Penn State, 208-91, and fell just short to Virginia Tech, 162-138, in Christiansburg, Virginia, on Jan. 20.
Harvard has a 4-1 record both overall and in Ivy League meets. In its most recent meet, the Crimson took down the University of Pennsylvania on Jan. 20 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 191-109. The Bulldogs are a perfect 7-0 and have recorded a perfect 5-0 record in Ivy League competition.
HYP will also be the Tigers' final meet before the Ivy League Championships, which take place at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatic Center in Providence, Rhode Island, from Feb. 21 – Feb. 24.
