Catherine Rao Named Ivy League Golfer Of The Month

Catherine Rao was a constant presence near the top of the leaderboard in her first two tournaments of the 2024-25 season, posting a win and a runner-up finish to earn Ivy League Golfer of the Month honors for September.
The junior was medalist at the Nittany Lion Invitational to open the season, posting a 54-hole score of 211 (-5) to secure individual champion honors as Princeton claimed the overall team title as well.
She would follow up with a second-place finish at the Princeton Invitational where she was -1 over her 54 holes (212) to again help the Tigers to a team championship.
Rao, ranked No. 49 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR), posted a stoke average of 70.5 over her six rounds this past month.
