Yeager Adds DI Player Of The Week Award To Ivy Honors
October 28, 2024 | Field Hockey
Beth Yeager has been named the NFHCA Division I Offensive Player of the Week after an explosive weekend that saw the Princeton junior score five goals as the Tigers took down No. 6 Maryland 2-1 and then Dartmouth 5-1 to clinch the Ivy League championship.
Yeager scored both goals in the win over Maryland Friday and then three more against Dartmouth Sunday.
The win over Dartmouth also gave Princeton the host role for the Ivy tournament, which will be on Bedford Field Nov. 8-10. The Tigers finish the regular season Saturday at noon at home against Yale.

Yeager leads the league in goals and points and is second in assists. In fact, she has 14 goals for the year while no other player has reached double figures, and her 37 points are one away from doubling up the second-place title. Her big weekend also vaulted her into eighth place at Princeton in career points.Beth makes it 1-0 ... pic.twitter.com/fFwpquvhwd
