Women's Rugby Scores Three Times At Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Princeton University women's rugby team scored three tries and battled valiantly Saturday afternoon, as the Tigers faced Quinnipiac at the Quinnipiac Rugby Field.
The Bobcats are one of the most storied programs in college rugby, having won National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) National titles in 2017, 2016 and 2015. The 2024 season is Princeton's third at the varsity level.
Ava Gregory got the Tigers on the scoreboard in the 34th minute, while Amelia Clarke scored her second try of the season at 50:48. Celia Watson crossed the line for the fourth time in 2024 in the 65th minute. Malinka Kwemo had another accurate afternoon off the kicking tee, successfully completing 2-for-3 attempts.
The Tigers fell to the Bobcats, 62-19.
