Women's Rowing Ready for Princeton Chase

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Rowing Team will participate in the annual Princeton Chase this Sunday on Lake Carnegie.
The Tigers will have five eights rowing among 61 entries for the event. Head coach Lori Dauphiny's team will also have eight 4+ boats along with four 2x entries, three 2- boats and a 4x crew.
Racing begins at 9 a.m. with the men's heavyweight eights and wraps up with the women's 1x at 1:40 p.m.
Princeton recorded two top six finishes at the Head of the Charles. The women's fours collected fifth overall at 18:03.96, 13.4 seconds behind Columbia (17:50.54). Penn AC (17:56.0), Virginia (18:01.83) and Brown (18:02.8) round out the top five.
Princeton's A eight boat was sixth in its race (15:48.31), fourth among collegiate boats. Leander A was first at 15:30.45. The Tigers' B boat was 16th at 16:11.71.
