Inchauspe Punches Ticket To NCAA Singles Championships

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.- Paul Inchauspe had won all of his matches at the ITA Sectionals in straight sets. That was until today when he faced off against NCSU's Braden Shick. Shick pushed back after Inchauspe took the first set 6-4. Shick took the close second set with a score of 7-6.

It all came down to the third and final set and Inchauspe went down 0-3. The No. 11 singles player fought back to chip away at the advantage. Shick was serving for the match but Inchauspe broke at 4-5 to extend the match. The match lasted over three hours before Inchauspe pulled out the gritty win with a final of 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 to punch his ticket to the NCAA Singles Championships.

Inchauspe will compete in the ITA Sectionals final tomorrow at 11:00 AM against South Carolina's Lucas Andrade Da Silva.
