December 04, 2024 | Women's Soccer
An Ivy League-best four United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors came the Princeton women's soccer team's way as senior keeper Tyler McCamey, junior forward Pietra Tordin and seniors defenders Heather MacNab and Ryann Brown were All-East Region selections.
McCamey and Tordin were first-team all-region honorees while MacNab and Brown were second-team honorees. It's the first all-region honor for McCamey, MacNab and Brown while Tordin is 3 for 3 in all-region recognitions her Tiger career, having been a third-team honoree in 2022 and a second-team honoree in 2023.Â
McCamey, a first-team All-Ivy League honoree, led the Ivy League in GAA (0.65), save percentage (.833) and shutouts (eight). Tordin, the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, led the Ivy in shots per game (4.00), shots on goal (2.60) and goals (10) and co-led the Ivy in points (22) and game-winning goals (three). MacNab, as a defender, led the Ivy in assists, with nine, adding two goals, and MacNab and Brown helped hold opponents to 0.63 goals per game and nine shutouts.
The four honorees helped Princeton to a 14-5 overall record, a 6-1 record in the Ivy League on the way to an outright Ivy League title, the Ivy League Tournament title, and a berth in the NCAA tournament.
