Jake Manfre Named ECAC Rookie Of The Month

Freshman forward Jake Manfre has been named Bitcoin ECAC Rookie of the Month for November after a stellar debut month for the Princeton men's ice hockey team.
Manfre, who earned the ECAC's Rookie of the Week honors for his work this past weekend in a sweep of No. 12 Ohio State, tallied six total points over his first eight collegiate games and currently ranks second overall in points by a Princeton player entering the second month of the season.
Manfre had four points this past weekend, including a three-point outing in Friday's 3-1win over the Buckeyes. He had a pair of power-play goals, including the game-winner. The next night, he followed up with an assist on the game-winning goal from Alex Konovalov in another 3-1 win for the Tigers.
Overall among freshmen in the country, Manfre ranks No. 58 in total scoring with his six points and he is No. 13 among ECAC forwards but No. 5 in the ECAC in points-per-game (0.75).
