
Wrestling Drops Home Dual to Binghamton, 26-12

PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton wrestling team dropped its second dual match of the week on Saturday afternoon against Binghamton, 26-12. Eligh Rivera, Rocco Camillaci, and Nate Dugan all won their bouts in their respective weight classes.
The Tigers stumbled in the first five bouts of the afternoon, starting with the 197-pound weight class, allowing Binghamton to surge ahead with a 20-0 lead. However, Princeton turned the tables when Eligh Rivera secured a fall over Michael Zarif, finally putting them on the scoreboard at 20-6. This moment marked a shift in momentum for the Tigers.
Princeton gained momentum as Rocco Camillaci secured a decision over Carter Baer in sudden victory, narrowing Binghamton's lead to 20-9. Following Camillaci's win, despite a hard-fought effort, Blaine Bergey of Princeton couldn't secure a win, resulting in Brevin Cassella of Binghamton winning by criteria, extending Binghamton's lead to 23-9.
Dimitri Gamkrelidze of Binghamton secured a decision over Luca Pontone, making it 26-9 in favor of Binghamton. Despite the outcome being decided, Princeton finished strong as Nate Dugan secured a decision over Will Ebert, concluding the match with a score of 26-12 in favor of Binghamton.
