Women's Tennis Defeats Brown At ECAC Championships, 4-2

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's tennis team overcame Brown, 4-2, Sunday at the Murr Center to earn a third-place finish at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships.
Despite dropping the doubles point to the Bears, the Tigers responded strongly in singles. Eva Elbaz took down Gabby Soliman at No. 4, 6-2, 6-2, then Leena Bennetto prevailed at No. 3, 6-4, 6-1, over Lindsay Hofflander. At No. 2, Maia Sung earned a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Ali Benedetto before Alice Ferlito clinched at the match at No. 5 with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 victory over Anne Yang.
