PRINCETON, NJ - The Princeton men's soccer team made an announcement today, revealing that Harry Roberts, Khamari Hadaway, and Issa Mudashiru will be appointed as captains for the upcoming fall 2024 season. These student-athletes, all seniors, have been chosen to lead the team through their collective experience and exemplary leadership qualities.
"We know that we will need leadership from everyone, but the team selected Harry, Issa, and Khamari as captains and we think this group will do a great job on and off the field," said head coach Jim Barlow. "Their leadership styles complement each other well, and they are ready to help the group grow, improve, and win."
"It's an honor to build on Princeton Soccer's rich legacy of leadership," said goalkeeper Khamari Hadaway. "I'm eager to capitalize on years of mentorship to cultivate the next generation of leaders, guiding this group to our collective goals by steadily unlocking our fullest potential."
"Princeton Soccer means so much to me and I am extremely honored to be in this position," said Harry Roberts. "I can't wait to get things going alongside Khamari and Issa. I am excited for what the future holds. Go Tigers!"
"It's an honor and an absolute privilege to be elected as one of the captains for the upcoming season," said Issa Mudashiru. "Not much to say other than that. The team's buzzing. We're locked in. We take things one day at a time."
The Tigers are poised to kick off their 2024 campaign this coming August.
