
No. 48 Women’s Tennis Falls To Penn, 4-3

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 48 Princeton University women's tennis team opened Ivy League play Saturday inside Jadwin Gymnasium, falling just short to the University of Pennsylvania 4-3.
Despite dropping the doubles point, the Tigers were almost able to pull off the comeback in singles. Madeleine Jessup earned a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Iris Gallo at No. 4 before Eva Elbaz took down Maya Urata at No. 6, 6-1, 6-2. At No. 3, Maia Sung triumphed over Gavriella Smith, 6-3, 6-2.
