No. 27 Men’s Tennis Earns 7-0 Victory over Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 27 Princeton Men's Tennis Team defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the Boss Tennis Center.
"We played well today and worked through some competitive situations to earn an important league match on the road," said Head Coach Billy Pate. "The doubles point was close and well played by both teams. We did a good job of keeping the advantage and finishing strong in all singles matches. It's a quick turnaround for our final regular season match and we will look to have a great performance against Harvard."
The Tigers earned the doubles point, as Landon Ardila and Matthew Bosancic took down Miles Groom and Waleed Qadir 6-3 at No. 3, while Filippos Astreinidis and Paul Inchauspe, the No. 52 ranked duo in the country, got past Henry Ren and Alex Knox-Jones 7-5 at No. 1.
The orange and black went on to win all six singles matches. No. 37 Paul Inchauspe earned a decisive 6-1, 6-2 victory over Henry Ren at No. 1, while Alan Kam swiftly dispatched Logan Chang 6-1, 6-3 at No. 6. Ellis Short triumphed over Alex Knox-Jones 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5 as Fnu Nidunjianzan bested Carlos Guerrero Alvarez 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2. Finally, Landon Ardila got past Hikaru Takeda at No. 4, while Sebastian Sec defeated Miles Groom at No. 3, with both players winning their third set tiebreaker 1-0.
