McKenzie Blake Named USA Lacrosse Magazine and Ivy League Player Of The Week

McKenzie Blake had a pretty good week on and off the field for Princeton, as she backed up her addition to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List with a 10-goal performance over a pair of Ivy League wins for the Tigers to earn USA Lacrosse Magazine and Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Blake scored five times in each victory, opening the week with five scores to provide the difference in a 14-9 win over then-No. 7 Penn at Sherrerd Field. On Saturday, she followed with five more goals at Columbia where she also added an assist to go with four draw controls and a ground ball.
Blake, who wears No. 34, now has 34 goals this season and her 3.4 goals-per-game are fourth in the Ivy League and 29th nationally. She also ranks No. 1 in the Ivy League -- and No. 21 in the country -- in shots-per-game (7.4) this season.
