Women's Lacrosse Earns Two ILWomen All-Americans In Hughes & Blake

A pair of Princeton women's lacrosse players have been named All-Americans by ILWomen as announced on May 16.

McKenzie Blake and Amelia Hughes represent the Tigers on the team, each earning honorable mention All-American honors to draw their first career honor from the publication.

Blake was also named a first-team IWLCA All-Region selection on May 16, adding to a season where she has also received honorable mention All-American honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine and was named a unanimous first-team All-Ivy attacker. She has caught the nation's attention after posting a career-high 72 points on 67 goals -- also a career high -- and five assists. Blake was also impactful on the draw, winning a team-high 63 draw controls which also set a new career best. Across the country, Blake ranks No. 12 in total goals with 67 and her 3.72 goals-per-game ranks No. 13.

Hughes has earned her first career All-American honor to go with Ivy League Goalkeeper of the Year and first-team All-Ivy honors. She led the Ivy League in saves (157) and saves-per-game (8.72) this season.
