Fry and Rassam Earn CRCA Major Awards

PRINCETON – Sarah Fry and Paul Rassam earned major Collegiate Rowing Coaches' Association (CRCA) awards, the organization.
Fry was named the Lightweight Athlete of the Year while Rassam earned CRCA Lightweight Coach of the Year.
During one of the best runs in Princeton women's lightweight rowing history, Fry has found herself leading the charge from the stroke seat. She has stroked a first varsity boat that has never lost during her time at Princeton. The Tigers won their third straight IRA Commissioners' Cup as the 1V has not lost to another lightweight boat since the 2019 IRA Championships.
In third place in the team standings with one race to go, the varsity eight went wire-to-wire, rowing to a 6:35.1, 1.8 seconds in front of the field. Stanford was second at 6:37.0 while Radcliffe was third at 6:38.8.
