Women's Track & Field Finishes First Day of NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, OR - On the opening day of competition for the Princeton women's track & field team, Tessa Mudd, Shea Greene, and Alexandra Kelly participated at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus.
In her second national championship event of the year, Tessa Mudd cleared a height of 4.15m (13-7.25). For her performance, Mudd earned an All-American Honorable Mention.
Shea Greene, competing in the Javelin Throw, captured a mark of 51.57m (169-2) to take a 16th-place finish. Greene earned Second-Team All-American recognition for her performance.
Alexandra Kelly concluded her remarkable sophomore outdoor season Thursday night in the long jump. Unfortunately, all three of Kelly's attempts were marked as fouls. Kelly will be back next year, ready to dominate and continue leading the team with her exceptional talent in the jumps.
On Saturday, Siniru Iheoma will compete in the Discus Throw at 5:05 P.M. ET (2:05 P.M. PT), and Georgina Scoot will have her moment in the spotlight in the Triple Jump at 5:50 P.M. ET (2:50 P.M. PT).
