Men's Tennis Continues Play At Liberty Fall Invitational

LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Princeton men's tennis team continued their fall season with day two of the Liberty Fall Invitational. They competed against players from Old Dominion, Norfolk State, Liberty, Charlotte, and Navy.
The Tigers earned five singles wins on the second day of play.
Alan Kam defeated Aryan Saleh in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
Micah Bigun picked up another singles win on the weekend, this time defeating Jean-Karim Olivier De Sardan 1-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Aleksandar Mitric bested Norfolk State's Jakub Solarski 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Fillipos Astreinidis picked up a win over Jason Kim 6-4, 6-1.
Matthew Bosancic earned the final singles win of the day for the Tigers by beating Liberty's Trey Stinchcomb 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8).
Princeton also picked up four doubles victories on the day.
Markovits and Bosancic worked quickly to defeat Aryan Saleh and Jean-Karim Olivier De Sardan of Old Dominion 6-1.
The Tigers earned the three other doubles wins over Charlotte.
Evan Wen and Mitric bested Matias Iturbe and Aresene Pougault 6-1.
Markovits collected his second doubles win of the day, this time with Ellis Short, with a score of 6-4 against Ivan Dreycopp and Frederic Schlossmann.
The day was rounded out with a 6-2 win from Fillipos Astreinidis and Bosancic over Brett Gloria and Danny Yassine.
