Men’s Tennis Drops To No. 3 Ohio State In ITA Kickoff Weekend Championship Match

COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Princeton men's tennis team in the ITA Kickoff Weekend Championship match on Sunday afternoon. Faced with a tall task, the Tigers ultimately fell to No. 3 Ohio State.
"It was a tough match against one of the best teams in the country," head coach Billy Pate said. "We had our opportunities and needed to seize those moments to make a push. That was true in doubles and certainly true in singles, as we had looks at it. It's challenging when you fight that battle from behind on the road in a spirited venue, but I'm proud of our guys and their effort. Paul and Top were likely in position to win their matches, but we needed to turn two more. This will be a great opportunity for growth for us and we're excited to put those lessons to use in our next set of matches on the road in Virginia next week."
