PRINCETON, N.J. – With an exciting season on the horizon as the Tigers return to Jadwin Gym, the Princeton wrestling team announced its 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday, featuring five home duals and a road match against the nation's no. 1 team Penn State.
This year, the Tigers return four 2025 NCAA qualifiers in Ty Whalen, Eligh Rivera, Kole Mulhauser and Marc-Anthony McGowan. All four Tigers begin the season ranked in the preseason polls.
Joe Dubuque begins his third year as head coach of the Tigers, with assistant coaches, former national champions Anthony Ashnault and Cody Brewer, starting their second year in the Orange & Black. Ryan Wolfe joins the Tiger bench this year, coming from Rider.
Princeton will begin the season at home on November 2nd as it hosts the 2025 Princeton Open. Last year, three Tigers claimed individual championships as Jadwin Gym was buzzing with the 12-mat tournament.
The Tigers' first dual meet will be against Pitt on November 14, as they stay on the road to take on West Virginia and Appalachian State the next day.
Kicking off the dual meet action in Jadwin, Princeton will host Northwestern on November 23rd.
In December, the Tigers will fly out to Las Vegas, Nev. for the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite on the fifth and sixth.
Then, starting the new year, Princeton will wrestle Lock Haven and Hofstra up in Albany (Jan. 4), before heading to the F&M Open in Lancaster for the fourth consecutive year (Jan. 9).
The Tigers will host Lehigh on January 18, before beginning the Ivy League action at home as they host Columbia on the 23rd.
Princeton will face off against New Jersey rivals, beginning with Rider on January 25th and Rutgers, in Jersey Mike's Arena, on February 16.
Closing out the Ivy League season, Princeton will dual Harvard and Brown on the road, while hosting rival #14 Cornell on February 7th and #17 Penn on February 14th.
In a regular season finale, Princeton will travel to State College to face defending NCAA national champion, #1 Penn State, on February 20.
The 2026 Ivy League Tournament will be held on March 8, with Columbia hosting in New York City.
The 2026 NCAA Championships will be held March 19-21 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Season tickets for the Tigers are available now. Individual match tickets, both single and group, will be available October 20th. For ticket information, please visit: athletics.tickets.princeton.edu.
