Women's Basketball Voted No. 1 in Ivy Preseason Poll

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team was voted as the No. 1 team in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, the league announced.
The Tigers earned 163 voting points and 17 of the 21 first place votes. Columbia was second at 147 points and three first place tallies while Harvard nabbed 126 points and the final first place nod. Penn was fourth (106), followed by Brown (84), Dartmouth (46), Cornell (45) and Yale (39).
Head coach Carla Berube's team returns four starters from last year's NCAA Tournament team in Ashley Chea (First-Team All-Ivy), Skye Belker (Second-Team All-Ivy), Fadima Tall (Second-Team All-Ivy) and Olivia Hutcherson.
Also, returning is Madison St. Rose, who was recently named to the 2026 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award Watchlist presented by the Her Hoops Stats.
Princeton begins the season at Georgia Tech on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.
