October 05, 2025 | Men's Water Polo
PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton men's water polo team took on another NWPC foe in the Harvard Crimson on Sunday morning to wrap up the home weekend.
After falling behind early, the Tigers worked to mount a comeback, but their efforts fell just short as Harvard came out on top 13-12.
#12 Princeton 12, Harvard 13
Harvard scored quickly on its first possession of the game but JP Ohl countered to make the score 1-1. The Crimson then rattled off three unanswered goals.
Logan McCarroll scored his first of the day to try and stop the bleeding, but Harvard found the back of the cage once more before the end of the first frame.
McCarroll then scored two more to kick off the second with an early hat trick. Although this cut Harvard's lead to just one, Princeton was unable to capitalize as the Tigers trailed by four at the halfway mark.
Princeton scored three goals in the third and held the Crimson to just two to chip away at the lead going into the fourth.
Enrique Nuño recorded a hat trick of his own thanks to two third quarter tallies and another in the fourth.
The Tigers outscored Harvard 4-2 in the final quarter, but were unable to complete the comeback.
