National Schedule On Tap as Softball Team Preps for Ivy Title Defense

As it looks to extend its nearly unprecedented run of Ivy League titles, the Princeton softball team has announced its 2026 schedule, which will send the Tigers to Florida, North Carolina and California before returning home for 19 home games across 13 home dates.
2026 Schedule
Schedule Notes:
• Princeton has six opponents from the 2025 NCAA tournament on the schedule, including Binghamton, Brown, Grand Canyon, North Carolina, North Florida, and San Diego State.Â
• Princeton will open with a tournament co-hosted by Jacksonville University and North Florida in Jacksonville, taking on Stony Brook and Iona, as well as the host schools, from Feb. 13-15.
• The season's second weekend will send the Tigers to North Carolina for UNC's tournament, including Appalachian State, North Carolina Central and Rider, as well as the host Tar Heels, from Feb. 20-22.
• A trip to San Diego will begin March, with an event co-hosted by USD and SDSU. Along with the host schools, Princeton will face Grand Canyon and Notre Dame, from Mar. 7-9.
• For the first time since 2000, Princeton will host a regular-season tournament, which will run March 13-15.
• Princeton's home Ivy League weekends will include Cornell (Mar. 21-22), Brown (Apr. 4-5), Penn (Apr. 11-12), and Dartmouth (May 2-3). Princeton will be on the road at Columbia (Mar. 28-29), Yale (Apr. 18-19), and Harvard (Apr. 25-26).Â
• Princeton's non-league games after the home invite include visits from Rider (Mar. 18) and Monmouth (Apr. 15), along with a visit to Lehigh (Apr. 1).
