Women's Swim and Dive Sweeps Cornell, Penn

Princeton women's swimming & diving delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, sweeping Penn and Cornell in a road tri-meet behind wins in 13 of 16 events, including both relays and both diving events. The Tigers defeated Penn 183–117 and topped Cornell 220–79 to cap an impressive afternoon in Teagle Pool.
Princeton opened the meet with a 1–2 finish on 3-meter, led by senior Charlotte Martinkus (310.45) and sophomore Charlotte Norman (287.90). The Tigers followed later with an even stronger sweep of the 1-meter, going 1–2–3 behind Norman (295.15), Martinkus (293.35), and junior Maggie Squire (262.75).
The meet began in the pool with a Tiger victory in the 200 medley relay, as the A-team of Delaney Herr, Eliza Brown, Savannah Skow, and Sabrina Johnston posted a winning 1:39.50. Princeton added a third-place finish from its B-squad to build an early cushion.
Princeton closed the meet in similar fashion, winning the 400 free relay in 3:18.75 behind legs from Sophia Sunwoo, Johnston, Heidi Smithwick, and Eleanor Sun. The Tigers' B-relay took third.
First-year standout Chloe Kim continued her sensational start with two victories, dominating the 1000 free (9:43.41) and later winning the 500 free (4:47.00) by nearly a full body length. Kim also finished second in the 200 IM with a 2:01.25.
Junior Eleanor Sun won twice on day, touching first in the 200 fly (1:56.88) and the 200 IM (1:59.40).
Senior Sabrina Johnston led a strong sprint corps, winning the 50 free (22.47), while first-year Savannah Skow won the 200 free (1:47.84).
Senior Eliza Brown delivered two wins, taking the 100 breast (1:02.60) and the 200 breast (2:14.82).
Princeton will host the Big Al Invitational Dec. 4-6.
