Tyler Rubin Named ADAPT Nutrition ECAC Defender Of The Week

For the second time in his career, Tyler Rubin has been chosen as the top defender in the ECAC for a week of play, earning ADAPT Nutrition ECAC Defender of the Week honors.

Rubin had a hand in two of Princeton's goals in a 5-4 win in overtime on Sunday as the Tigers knocked off Brown at Hobey Baker Rink.

His first helper came on a power play goal early in the second period, followed by an assist on the Kai Daniells' first goal of the afternoon.

The two-assist game is the first of Rubin's career and the two-point effort matched his career high.

Rubin and the Tigers are back home at Hobey Baker Rink for a pair of games against ranked opponents, hosting No. 8 Dartmouth (Jan. 2; 7 p.m.) and No. 18 Harvard (Jan. 3; 7 p.m.) to ring in the new year.
