Women’s Tennis Earns First Conference Victory With Win Over Cornell

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton women's tennis team was back at home after a long road stretch and ready to get back on track. Although the Tigers dropped the doubles point, Princeton battled it out and pulled out a 4-3 victory. The win snapped their losing streak and gave the Tigers their first conference victory of the 2025 season.
Eva Elbaz got Princeton on the board with a win in straight sets on court three followed by a victory from Maren Urata on court five to tie the match at 2-2.
Cornell and Princeton traded a point with Tsehay Driscoll securing a win on court six.
The match came down to a three set thriller on court one between Alice Ferlito and Michelle Ryndin. Ferlito had won the first set 6-5 before dropping the second 5-7. She was able to battle back and clinch the match for the Tigers in the third set with a score of 7-5.
